So…what IS my story?
It all began with my best friend – my dog, Bo.
Bo and I took up dog agility together, training and competing locally. After a lot of hard work, to my surprise and delight, we qualified for several World Championships!! Cool huh? During Bo’s career, we got to see the world together. He took me around the world to places like Hungary, Italy, Amsterdam and England.
So WHAT does this have to do with a small soapy business?
Not being independently wealthy, I needed to find a way to keep Bo in his new lifestyle. I toyed with making and selling dog treats and then started to dabble in creating handmade soaps. After lots of research and practice, I made my first bar of soap – Coffee Cinnamon. The rest is history!

What’s with the hummingbird?
There’s a story behind that too. It’s a tribute to my grandmother who was the kindest and sweetest lady I’ve ever known. My Nannie and I always chatted about the humming birds. The week after she passed away, a humming bird flew into my office through an open door and perched on a poster that was sitting on top of a bookshelf!!! She just sat there quietly. I carefully carried the poster to the door and she flew outside. I think it was a sign from my Nannie that things were going to be ok!
